Other Places to Donate Laptops and Mobiles

Level Up Redhill Reigate and Banstead is designed to be a local project. However, since the third lockdown started, we have been offered devices from across the South East of England.

Whilst we are very grateful for your donations, if you do not live in or close to Reigate & Banstead borough, please check to see if there is a scheme that is more local to you.

Below are details of some of the schemes we are aware of. Please let us know if you hear of others, in particular across Surrey.

Mole Valley and Epsom and Ewell:

Epsom and Ewell Foodbank are collecting laptops and tablets, which are reset to factory settings and then distributed to schools in Mole Valley and Epsom and Ewell. Click here for further details or register on their website here.

Caterham School is running a Laptops4Lockdown project, collecting laptops and tablets on behalf of partner primary schools in Tandridge. Devices can be dropped at the school or register on their site to arrange a collection. Click here for further details.

Surrey wide: Action for Carers:

Laptops are being collected from across Surrey, to be refurbished and donated to young carers. For details click here or email fundraising@actionforcarers.org.uk.

London and Further Afield:

Check out Restart’s online listing of “Where to donate your laptop“. This includes donation points in London and across the South East.

BBC Give a Laptop lists a number of projects that are collecting and distributing laptops for schools. Please note some of the projects will only accept business donations of laptops.

Mobile Phones:

Level Up is not currently accepting mobile phones. If you would like to donate a used mobile phone, please check out SimPal – they are a charity that refurbishes phones and provides them free of charge to people living with cancer. Click here for details.
