Social Media training for beginners
Over the past year the shift to online communications has gathered in pace. Even the older demographic who traditionally shied away from digital technology are now far more likely to search for information online or on a social media platform. (Ofcom reported in 2017 that 41% of over 75’s now have a social media account and daily usage has increased too with 74% of Facebook users checking the platform at least once per day, along with 63% of Instagram users, 61% and 42% of Twitter users according to Telemediaonline (2020).)
To help local voluntary organisations communicate better with their audiences we are running free training in two sessions. Suitable for beginners, the training will cover all of the basics from setting up an account, how to post, how to schedule and how to engage.
The sessions will run in groups of up to six organisations at a time, who will then form a Social Media Support Hub to provide ongoing support and encouragement.
Our May sessions are now full, but we are taking bookings for two-day sessions on:
25 June & 2 July 10am-12pm, and
23 & 30 July 10am – 12pm.
If you are interested in attending, please email email@example.com to arrange a quick call to discuss your goals.
